Aliweld Power is a specialist in the supply, modification, and installation of isolated phase bus ducting (IPB) for power stations and large scale electrical infrastructure. Our team has worked on numerous generator circuit breaker (GCB) replacement projects, IPB upgrades, and new installations.

We have successfully completed many projects in coal, hydro, gas, power stations, both new builds and retro-fit situations.

We supply IPB components including elbows, straight runs, expansion joints and terminals. All ducting is custom fabricated and welded onsite by our certified team. We have partnered on major IPB projects across Australia with OEMs such as Siemens, ABB and Hitachi, reinforcing our reputation for technical precision and timely execution.

We manufacture a full range of cast aluminium fittings designed to be welded directly onto busbars for substation and power station applications, including:

All items are available in a range of standard busbar diameters, with custom sizing and configurations available on request. Every weld is carried out by AS1665-certified welders.

FAQ's About Busbar Weld-On Fittings

Both seal the end of a busbar, but the corona dome end cap has a rounded profile specifically designed to reduce electrical stress, making it better suited to extra-high-voltage bus systems.

Yes. While we stock standard sizes to suit common busbar diameters, we can design and manufacture custom weld-on fittings to your specific dimensions.

All welding is carried out by AS1665-certified welders, with systems compliant up to 500kV and NATA-approved non-destructive testing available on request.

Yes. Alongside terminal and end palms, we manufacture weld-on earth palms and earthing stirrups for connecting busbars into a site’s earthing system.
