Aliweld Power is a Brisbane-based, private Australian owned and operated company with its headquarters located in Queensland. With over 25 years of expertise in the high-voltage power sector, aluminium welding, and fabrication, we have built a strong reputation for delivering high quality, and cost-effective high voltage products.
We have a 2000 sqm facility in Narangba where we stock a large range of HV fittings for transmission and distribution networks, aluminium tubular busbar material, conductor cable, and line fittings. We also stock a wide variety of substation hardware and earthing equipment. We now offer complete substation packages including rigid busbar, weld-on fittings, line hardware, conductor cable, delivered with busbar fabrication drawings, weld procedures, and material certificates.
Aliweld employs a team of skilled, accredited aluminium welders to AS1665, overseen by an inhouse qualified welding supervisor to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.
We stock a large range of locally manufactured alloy raw materials for our substation components, ensuring that all substation components can be customised to meet specific project requirements.
We will work around the clock to fabricate products to ensure we achieve customer deadlines.
We have a fully equipped machine shop and we also offer laser cutting, water jet cutting, and CNC machining. We utilise a local galvanising company for fast turnaround on our steel HV components.

We supply onsite aluminium welding services with fully equipped site vehicles and generators. Our workforce holds industry recognised certifications, including EWP, dogman, riggers, tele-handler, working at heights and confined space tickets. Our inhouse Health Safety Manager oversees all onboarding, site inductions, and ensures our Integrated Management System (IMS) is compliant with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 45001 (WHS), and ISO 4001 (Environmental) standards, reinforcing our commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability.
Aliweld specialises in supply, installation and aluminium welding of Isolated Phase Bus ducting (IPB) Australia wide, for power stations and synchronous condenser installations.
Aliweld has been involved in numerous GCB replacement projects involving the supply and modification of the IPB. We have done many projects for Hitachi, Siemens, and ABB.
